Your submissions can play with subjects that encompass both human and non-human experiences, blurring the lines between reality and imagination. Submission Guidelines

Stories should fall under the genre of literary fiction, exploring the theme of love amidst loss. We welcome diverse interpretations of the theme.

1. Word count: Submissions should be between 3,000 and 5,000 words in length.
2. Originality: We value unique and fresh perspectives. Previously unpublished stories will be given priority, but we will consider exceptional stories that have been previously published.
3. Submission format: Please submit your stories in a standard manuscript format (double-spaced, 12-point font, Times New Roman, in .doc or .docx format).
4. Multiple submissions: You may submit up to two stories for consideration. Please submit each story as a separate entry.
5. Submissions should be sent via email to lgswd@witsprouts.com with the subject line “Love Grows Stronger in Death Submission.” Include your name, contact information, a brief bio (50-100 words), and the word count of your story in the body of the email. Attach your story as a separate document.
6. Deadline: The deadline for submissions is 31st July 2023. We will not consider any submissions received after this date.
7. Response time: We aim to respond to all submissions within 4 weeks of the submission deadline. If you haven’t heard back from us within that time, please feel free to inquire about the status of your submission.

Remuneration for Contributors

We understand and value the immense effort and creativity that goes into crafting exceptional stories. While we cannot offer monetary compensation for accepted works in “Love Grows Stronger in Death,” we are committed to recognizing and appreciating the contributions of our talented authors.

As a token of our gratitude, all accepted authors will receive a complimentary personal copy of the anthology upon its publication. We believe that holding the physical manifestation of your work in your hands is a cherished reward and a testament to your skill and dedication.
